Spicy Turkey Sausage

I knew starting the Whole30 there would be a lot of eggs. And yes, thus far I’ve eaten a lot of eggs. But to Breakfast Sausagebreak up the monotony, I found this Spicy Turkey ! So easy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1lb ground turkey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground sage
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh-ground black pepper

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients (using your hands!)

Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Fom the turkey mixture into balls (about 8-10) and press to patties.

Add ghee or oil to the pan. Cook the patties for 3 minutes on the first side and flip. Then cook an additional 2 minutes.

Remove to paper-towel lined plate.

After the patties cool, wrap two patties in wax paper and put in small freezer bags. If you remember the night before, remove a package to defrost over night. If not, when you’re ready to eat, pop the frozen patties in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Enjoy!
