Waffles for Breakfast

This morning I wanted something a little more substantial for breakfast. Being that it’s Easter, and we won’t eat lunch until around 2pm. I wanted something yummy, and for breakfast I immediately thought of waffles!

Nothing fancy just the recipe from the side of the box of Bisquick.

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 1/3 cups milk

Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl. Pour 1/4 mixture into hot waffle iron, cook until ready light comes on!

You can get all fancy adding fresh fruit, whipped cream and more – if you like. I’m kind of simple.  I serve waffles with butter and syrup!

Yum, Enjoy!
