Broiled Honey-Soy Flounder

After my adventure to Costco, tonight we made Honey-Soy Flounder. I was a little disappointed with the  fillet size, we probably should have served two per person. Anyway, despite the smallish size the flavor was great!

Ingredients:

  • 2-4 flounder fillets depending on size
  • 3 Tbsp lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Put the broiler on high and whisk the ingredients together. Baste one side of the fish with the mixture and put the fish in the oven. Broil for 3 minutes. Pull the fish and flip, baste the other side, then back into the oven for another 2 minutes. Done!

{If you have particularly thick fillet of fish, you might need to repeat the flip and baste and cook for 3 more minutes.}

Easy, tasty, quick.

Enjoy!

  1. Sounds great! I’m actually making a similar recipe this week using boneless pork loin chops along with honey, soy sauce and garlic.
